FAQ
1. Does ILPEA sell compounds or produce them only for internal use?
ILPEA develops and manufactures plastic, rubber and ferrite compounds both for internal use and for supply to third-party customers. Our in-house laboratory tests and develops customised formulations, allowing us to create materials tailored to the specific performance requirements of each application.
2. Are your proprietary compounds third-party certified?
Yes, ILPEA has various patented compounds certified by UL Solutions, NSF, DVGW and others. Our trademarked compounds range includes ILPEALINK (EPDM/PP alloy), ILPEAFLEX (TPE-S compound) and ILPEALLOY (PP/PA6 alloy)
3. Do you manufacture components using customised molds?
By combining polypropylene (PP) with other polymers or elastomers, it is possible to create material blends with enhanced impact resistance and flexibility. PP-based alloys also offer good thermal stability and can withstand a wide range of operating temperatures while resisting chemicals and aging, and limiting moisture and vapour permeation. Compared with plastics such as ABS, PC, or PA, they are a more cost-effective solution.
