TPV Sealing Profiles

ILPEA’s TPV automotive profiles are extruded components made from thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV), combining the elasticity of rubber with the durability and recyclability of thermoplastics. These sealing solutions are widely used for trim, and weatherstrip applications in vehicles.

They offer excellent resistance to heat, UV, and ozone, along with superior flexibility and long-term durability, making them suitable for both interior and exterior automotive applications. Co-extrusion with materials such as TPE or PP further enhances adaptability and performance optimization. Our revolutionary hoses set a new standard in the industry. They can be made from high-performance butyl rubber (IIRi) or through a patented process that applies aluminum foil to corrugated PP hoses. ILPEA’s oxygen barrier hoses deliver unmatched oxygen barrier performance (DIN 4726) and superior flame resistance (ISO 13501-1 Class E).
