At ILPEA, innovation in sealing systems begins with materials. We develop and manufacture high-performance plastic, rubber, and magnetic compounds at the core of advanced applications for the automotive, home appliance, and building sectors. Combining decades of compounding expertise with ongoing material development, we create engineered sealing solutions for static and dynamic industrial applications.

ILPEA materials are regularly certified by external bodies, our broad portfolio includes UL, NSF, DVGW, and WRAS-certified materials to help ensure regulatory compliance and the safety of the final products into which they are incorporated.

FROM PVC TO TPE-S

Plastic Compounds

ILPEA designs and produces plastic compounds primarily based on PVC, TPE-V (ILPEALINK), and TPE-S (ILPEAFLEX), developed across multiple dedicated compounding lines. These materials are engineered to meet both technical and aesthetic requirements, ensuring flexibility, durability, and full customization.
Our plastic compounds are a key element of modern sealing systems, used in applications such as refrigerator gaskets, automotive seals, and washing machine bellows, where reliable sealing performance and durability are essential.

EPDM, NBR, SBR, AND NR ELASTOMERS

Rubber Compounds

We manufacture high-performance rubber compounds based on EPDM, NBR, SBR, and NR elastomers, specifically formulated for injection, compression, and extrusion processes.
These materials support dynamic sealing technology by delivering excellent performance and providing optimal thermal and acoustic insulation and vibration damping. Designed for demanding environments, our rubber compounds enable technical sealing systems that ensure long-term reliability, safety, and durability.

BARIUM AND STRONTIUM FERRITE STRENGTH

Magnetic Compounds and Ferrite Powder

ILPEA’s magnetic compounds, based on barium or strontium ferrite, deliver high magnetic strength, dimensional precision, and long-term stability. These materials play a strategic role in the development of innovative magnetic sealing systems that enhance performance and functionality across a broad range of applications.
To ensure complete control over quality and consistency, ILPEA produces ferrite powder in-house, forming the core of its magnetic compounds and reinforcing the company’s leadership in advanced sealing technology.
